According to sources that spoke to esports industry journalist Jeff Grubb, the renaming of EA’s soccer video game franchise from FIFA to EA Sports FC is expected to be “be finalized at some point in the near future.” This comes after it was reported that Electronic Arts was considering severing ties with the FIFA brand.
