Fortnite’s infamous Emote Royale contest has returned in 2022. Some long-time fans might remember the Boogie Down contest that occurred in 2018 at the height of Fortnite’s popularity. During that competition, Twitter user Populotus reigned supreme with what is now the Boogie Down emote, edging out fan-favorite Orange Shirt Kid. A few iterations have occurred since then, bringing us to the Emote Royale 2022 contest.
