Lenovo And GEMS Education Launch Middle East’s First Dedicated Esports Zone In A School

GEMS Education and Lenovo have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to accelerate opportunities for students in gaming, powered by the rollout of the Lenovo Esports program – an esports solution aimed at K-12 and university institutions focused on advancing video game offerings. As part of the collaboration, Lenovo has launched its first Legion Gaming Zone at the GEMS Modern Academy in Dubai. It’s a zone that’s built into a classroom that features Legion PCs and monitors and performance ThinkStation workstations for designing and programming. The organizations will also provide the educational institution with Yoga Tab tablets, which will provide teachers with the tools needed to conduct lessons with greater visibility and efficiency while delivering on key outcomes.
