Not much is known about the recently announced Where Winds Meet other than that it’s being developed by Chinese developer Everstone Games. The trailer they revealed at Gamescom 2022 shows a beautiful open-world that clearly takes visual and gameplay inspiration from FromSoft titles. Still, the game clearly has its own inspirations, as elements of traditional Chinese culture give the world its life. There also has not been an announced release date as of yet, though given the massive scale of the project, a release sometime in late 2023 or early 2024 wouldn’t be surprising.
