Clocking in at possibly 40 hours, half of which are related to completing quests, Ragnarok’s playtime exceeds that of its prequel. While the original game takes about the same time to complete, side quests in Ragnarok add about eight hours to its playtime, indicating that it may contain more side quests than the original. According to a report by Insider Gaming, cinematic scenes in Ragnarok will be about three and a half hours, leaving the rest for gameplay.
