As necessary as they often are, I let out a little sigh of resignation whenever a game plonks me down in a dry tutorial section. Understand this isn’t some hubristic sniff at the idea I don’t know what I’m doing, because I often don’t, but it’s more to do with the way such things are handled and the impact that can have on my initial impressions of a game.
