Raid Hours are similar to Spotlight Hours, a weekly feature event that showcases a singular Pokemon taking over the wild around trainers. Raid Hours follow the same format — once a week on the same day at the same time featuring a single Pokemon. However, instead of simply increasing the spawning rate of the Pokemon for an hour, that featured Pokemon becomes the primary Raid Boss until the event’s end.
